VTV Coverage of the 2006 CES in Las Vegas & THE Home Entertainment Show This year, there were over 150,000 attendees at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Plus there were thousands that attended THE SHOW (The Home Entertainment Show), a concurrent event located right next to the Alexis Park Hotel where the high performance audio section of the CES is housed. There were literally hundreds of exhibitors at both shows with the latest and most impressive amps, speakers, accessories and related audio equipment on hand on being demonstrated several systems sounded quite impressive. In addition, CES is a great place to meet old friends and meet new ones. It is truly the most incredible electronics show and exposition on the planet. Anita and I were treated to a free lunch by the CES Press Room, plus provided with very cool backpacks on wheels for hauling all the literature around. We also got a free foot massage compliments of Intel Corporation. The following photos and pages only represent a small portion of this giant show, but do include some of the best sounding systems we heard there plus some very exotic and unusual products.
